Established February 1st, 2019

Troop 114 Girls hit the ground running on February 1st, 2019...but the planning and preparation began much earlier.  When the BSA welcomed Girls in to Cub Scouting in 2017.  With approval from Littleton United Methodist Church representatives, a few current Troop Leaders formed an all girl Webelos Arrow of Light Den at Pack 114, and welcomed then 4th graders into the brand new experience.

During this time, the Troop 114 linked Committee was planning, securing a meeting space, recruiting and getting ready for today.  The 75 year old Troop 114B has graciously offered experience, space, and financing to help Troop 114G get off the ground.  Did we ever get off the ground!!

In our first three months we've grown to be the largest BSA Scouts Girl Troop in the Denver Area Council.  We've logged 42 nights of camping, more than 14 rank advancements, and an astonishing 32 merit badges earned.  The girls of Troop 114G have divided into three patrols, have eleceted a Senior Patrol Leader and Patrol Leaders, and will be working on Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops in the coming weeks.

The rest of our year looks to be even more exciting!  In the upcoming months, we'll be attending the first session of Camp Cris Dobbins available for BSA Scouts Girl Troops, Rafting in Brown's Canyon, representing as a sponsor in the Western Welcome Week Grand Parade and attending the 2019 Denver Area Council Camporee.   This is just a start...and if you know a girl from age 11-18 that likes adventure, we'd love to have her join us!  Find out more...Join Troop 114 Girls
