Camping Director/ASM Camping

Make camping reservations for the Troop. Promote camping trips, and assemble rosters, ensure transportation and a continuously updated promotional mailing list for the Troop. Promote the Troop with local packs, arrange visits, open houses and camping opportunities. Find new avenues for recruiting members. Contribute to the production of the Parent Guide and work with new parents to integrate them into the Troop.

Journey to Excellence Coordinator
Periodic/Bi-Monthly
Track data for this Council program. Watch Journey to Excellence progress and make suggestions during Parent Committee Meetings about how we can acheive better results. Complete and submit year-end report.
Training Manager
Periodic/Ongoing
Track training records for Adult Leaders. Review the BSA standards and ensure that the Troop is in compliance. Regular meeting attendance is not required, but Parent Committee meetings helpful. Promote training opportunities such as University of Scouting and IOLS
Merit Badge Counselor
Periodic as needed
Teach up to 10 of the 138 merit badges offered in teh BSA. Work with individual scouts, small groups and the whole Troop as needed.
Troop Treasurer - Bridge
Ongoing
Coordinate with the Troop 114 Boys treasurer. Collect payments, make deposits and report on monthly campout expenses. Manage reimbursements. Attend monthly committee meetings to make financial reports.
